Dr. Gaurav Saxena is currently working as Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering Department, Jaypee University of Engineering & Technology (JUET) Guna, M.P, India. He joined Department of Computer Science and Engineering, JUET in 2017.
He has completed his Ph.D. degree in area of Digital Image Processing using Deep learning from M.P State Technological University (RGPV) -Bhopal, India. He received his Master of Technology in Electronics & Communication Technology from National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra (NIT, Kurukshetra), Haryana, India. His Master of Technology thesis is in Image Texture Segmentation and Enhancement Using Linear and Non-linear filters. Dr. Gaurav received his Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics Engineering from M.P State Technological University (RGPV) -Bhopal, India.
Dr. Gaurav has over two decades of extensive experience in Academics. His academic experience is more than 15 years at JUET. He was the faculty of Electronics and Communication Engineering Department, Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology, Guna from 2008-2017, and in the Institute of Technology & Management (ITM), Gwalior from 2003-2008. He has supervised three students of Master of Technology and several Bachelor of Technology students in the Department of Computer Science and Electronics Engineering. Dr. Gaurav enjoy to teach assigned classes and to develop new courses. Recently, he taught Computer Networks, Software Development fundamentals for problem solving, computer organisation and Architecture. He has published more than Twenty papers in the field of VLSI design, communication & Signal Processing at National & International Level (SCI-Scopus) journals & Conferences of repute.
Dr. Saxena is a member of the editorial board and reviewers committee of various International/National Journals & Conferences. He attended many conferences & Faculty development programs at the National & International Level.
His areas of expertise in research and teaching encompass Internet of Things, Machine and Deep Learning, Digital signal and Image processing, VLSI Architecture design, Computer Organization & Architecture, Computer Programming and Data Communication.
